We are powerless!



I am truly powerless. It is amazing to me how much my life is changing now that I have realized this. When we think we are in control of our own lives we mess everything up. When we lean on our own power to make changes we can only get so far. Yes, I have done alot in my own power but it has really led me no where. I always have hit a dead end. And not just a dead end but a very painful dead end. One that brings sadness in ways I can't even describe. I am sure that there are many out there reading this that can relate to that kind of sadness. But we don't have to live in that sadness. God will make the changes in our life that are necessary to be content...even through our troubles. Romans 6:4 tells us that we will have new lives! "For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives." The only way to have this new life is through Christ....but we can all have it! We just have to accept Christ into our hearts and understand that only through God's power can we be transformed. We CANNOT do it on our own. We are powerless!
